What is this programme about?
PBR is a housing financial assistance for target groups currently living in dilapidated homes. The programme aims to provide a safer and more comfortable living space for the poor. This initiative targets to provide aid to the hardcore poor households and individuals that are registered with the e-Kasih system or SSPKR. Priority will be given to:
• Senior citizens
• Infirm and disabled individuals
• Single mothers with many dependents
The applicant of this assistance programme must provide their own land or have the written consent of the landowner if the land belongs to a family member. If the applicant is currently renting/residing on a piece of land owned by the Government, a written consent from the relevant authorities is required for the applicant to receive financial aid to rebuild on the piece of property.
