What is this programme about?
This scheme provides food baskets of nutritional basic essential food to schooling children under the age of 12 of poor families. The goal of this programme is to help physical growth and improve learning ability through better food consumption of the target group children who are attending school.
Under the supervision of the Ministry of Health, recipients will be granted 5 packages of supplementary food baskets annually and the programme is implemented via the KEMAS headquarters.
