What is this programme about?
The 1Malaysia Milk Programme (PS1M) is a Ministry of Health (MOH) initiative to provide free milk to poor primary school students. This is to ensure better physical, mental health growth and general well-being through better nutritional food provision during the formative years. This programme runs simultaneously with the Supplementary Food Scheme. The programme targets to provide aid to poor students whose family income is below the poverty level. Each eligible student is given two boxes of milk (200ml), twice a week.
