Election Commission, the Elections and the Rules

Called the PD-move, is the upcoming by-election on October 20 that is which we are likely to see Anwar win and make his way back to the government after 20 years. The by-election was made possible by a PKR fellow member, Dayalt who vacated his seat to make way for Anwar to contest. There has been much criticism of the actions of both the elected Dayalt and Anwar. Some have also cried foul with the free banquets, concerts and the usual 'election goody projects'.
One of the first few initiatives taken by the new government when they came into power was to form the Election Reform Committee headed by ..... to reform the election commission and the rules. Prior to PD move, the reforms were concentrated around the issues of .....
The committee is now looking into the other unfair practices which have come to light from the PD move episode and may put in place legislation to prevent similar occurences in the future.
